Osseo Area Schools is seeking a dedicated individual to join us in maintaining our buildings and grounds. As a Groundskeeper/Maintenance Worker, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that our facilities are well-kept and operational, contributing to the overall success of the educational experience.

Role will include:

• Perform electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and equipment repairs; troubleshoot HVAC, refrigeration, boiler, and control system failures.
• Maintain grounds year-round, including mowing, pruning, debris removal, outdoor play surfaces, snow removal, and de-icing.
• Perform preventive and repair maintenance on building, custodial, and grounds equipment.
• Perform general housekeeping tasks and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Minnesota Driver’s License.
• Minnesota Specialist Boiler License required upon hire; must obtain First Class “C” Boiler License within two years.
• Must obtain EPA Certified Pesticide Applicator License within one year of hire.
• Experience operating HVAC systems, heavy equipment (tractors, loaders, skid steers, snow plows), and computerized building controls.
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) and strong commitment to safety.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Vocational training in HVAC, electrical systems, and/or grounds and turf management.

Salary and Benefits:

• $25.16 – $35.69 per hour, placement per contract based on qualifications and experience.

Location and Shift Times:

• District Grounds Crew, Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
